Welcome to Central Region Office
Mr. John D. Pace
I would like to welcome you to the Central Region Office where “A Continuum of Enhanced Leadership” has been embraced by a collective group of professional educators who lead, teach, and work in schools that are meeting the challenges of the 21st Century for all students. Our community of parents and business partners are critical stakeholders in our quest to implement innovative means of impacting the capabilities of the Central Region student population. We are committed to a leadership philosophy that continually builds capacity in our schools. Thus, we seek and find solutions that guide us to best practices that are linked to National, State and District standards. To do that, Professional Development has an important function in the preparation and sustainability of teachers’ effectiveness.
In an era of accountability structures that measure student progress, Central Region Office is a motivating entity that fosters the very best of its school teams to achieve excellence in the work that is accomplished. The strength of how we meet the challenges of a diverse group of students in an urban setting is rooted in building capacity and sustaining momentum based on our ability to cultivate the tension between the reality and our vision that exist to make better choices to achieve the desired result of high student performance.
As your Region Superintendent, I am enthusiastic and dedicated to developing and maintaining a body of work that provides positive results for students. Moreover, this represents the efforts of education professionals who are committed to K-12 student learning. The Central Region Office staff, school principals, assistant principals, teachers and school support staffs believe in a theory of knowledge that views feedback as ground zero because we believe it leads to positive growth and stability over time. As a valued stakeholder, please know we are here to serve our community of learners!
